A total of 75.4 percent of Nigeria's voter population are between the ages of 18 and 49, while 39.65 percent of the voters are between the ages of 18 and 34.
These statistics from the Independent National Electoral Commission clearly show that when adequately mobilised, the youths will be determining who gets what in the contestation for elective offices in Nigeria.

It is against this background it's gratifying to note that Edo youths have keyed into the gubernatorial aspiration of Dr. Efosa Dorry Okojie (EDO). They have demonstrated their unalloyed buy-in, not only in words, but in deeds as they're taking practical steps at every political bend for the realization of his aspiration.
