It has just been brought to our notice, the various posters, billboards and newsletters making the rounds indicating that (Dr). Efosa Dorry Okojie is contesting for the post of Governor, and some posters under the banner of Labour Party .

Yes Mr Okojie is seeking to become Labour Party's Candidate for 2024 Edo gubernatorial election.  

While we appreciate the honour, confidence and good gesture of our people; particularly the need for a candidate that can accelerate the development of the state and spread prosperity ; however we wish to disassociate ourselves from the posters and news letter as the electoral guidelines must be followed in the process. 

At the appropriate time, when the electoral guidelines are out, we  shall commence campaigns accordingly..

We believe in  the Edo project and by the Grace of God we would be victorious.
