Children's Day: Edo  foremost Governorship Aspirant EDO 2024. Advocates for End to Out of School Children.

In commemoration of the May 27 International Children Day's celebration, the great  Industralist and Esan Amazon Dr. Dorry  Efosa Okojie has advocated for more collaborative efforts to end the number of out-of-school children in the country. 

Dr. Dorry Okojie,  who identified with children on the Children Day's celebration which is being celebrated around the world, lamented the growing rate of out-of-school children, child labor, street hawking, and violence against children, emphasized the need for collective responsibilities to tackle the menace in the country. 

He also condemned violence against children, calling for all hands to be on deck to address the problem. 

"If parents, stakeholders among other groups join hands with the government in tackling child abuse, child labor, and violence against children in the country, it would go a long way in promoting peace and societal development. 

The foremost Aspirant EDO 2024 urged parents to see education as a lasting legacy they can bequeath to their children and give it an optimal priority. 

He has also described education as the best instrument to fight poverty and other societal vices hence the need for parents to give topmost priority to the education of their children. 

“Education is the leeway to success in life; a route to escape from poverty box and it is the bedrock of every society as knowledge is power and we must do everything humanly possible to ensure that children get the best education,’ the foremost Aspirant EDO 2024 said.
